1. Closet Child – Harajuku, Tokyo
Located on the main street of Harajuku, this store is heaven for people looking for unique and wonderful nail arts. Whether you want something to match your favorite idol’s outfit or you want to find the perfect summer nail design, you can find it here.
The store itself is small and often crowded with people but, despite the lack of space, they make great use of it! With all sorts of designs on display, prices range from around ¥2000-¥4000 depending on the style!
Recently, Closet Child has started selling various nail accessories such as stickers and gems if you want to add something extra special to your outfit.

2. THE NAIL – Harajuku, Tokyo
In a similar vein to Closet Child is the store THE NAIL. Located just around the corner from Closet Child, this store has a bit more space and even stocks some DIY kits so you can do your own thing at home if you don’t have time to come into the store.
THE NAIL will have something to suit you, whether it’s for that special occasion or just because!
They also offer nail art workshops which are great fun and only cost ¥2000-¥3000 (depending on how many guests there are).

3.Nail-Marugoto Daini-Takashimaya – Osaka
While this store is on the smaller side, it has a wide range of wonderful nails to choose from now! The available designs include flowers, Disney characters, and anime figures. The prices for these nails are ¥2000 or ¥3000, depending on the design. They are on the second floor of Takashimaya Department Store, so it is easy to find.
You will also find a large variety of other wonderful nail accessories such as false eyelashes, hair extensions, and many more!

4. Nail Mania – Shibuya, Tokyo
Nail Mania is in the famous Shibuya 109 building. Inside, you will find a wide range of not only nail art accessories but accessories for your hair and face as well! This store offers lessons on how to do wonderful nails yourself, so if you are looking for something unique or want to do your nails at home, this is the perfect place to go!

5. Shu Uemura Art of Nails – Shinjuku, Tokyo
It is probably the most well-known nail store in Japan. You can find it on the 9th floor of the department store in Shinjuku. This wonderful nails boutique also offers lessons on how to do your nail art at home if you have a hard time choosing!

6. Pinky Girls – Osaka
Our final destination is none other than Pinky Girl in Osaka. This wonderful nails store has a range of styles and designs! From traditional Japanese art to anime figures! It is well-known for stocking some unusual designs that are harder to find in other shops.
